Yasmin Guimarães – Exhibition "Scapeland - Território de Trânsito Livre"

Inspired by the anniversary of São Paulo, the collective show “Scapeland – Territory of Free Transit” opens on January 25 at the Marta Traba gallery of the Memorial da América Latina, with work by artist Yasmin Guimarães.

Curated by Laerte Ramos, the recurring theme of the work of the 46 artists is the landscape captured in horizons, cities, plans and clippings of real and imaginary places.

The exhibition can be seen until February 28, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9am to 6pm. Free entrance.

Exhibition "Mira Schendel: Sinais/Signals"

Today (16/01), at 7:30pm, the exhibition “Mira Schendel: Sinais/Signals” opens at MAM-SP. Curated by Paulo Venâncio, the exhibition will address the artist’s work under the perspective of the use of signs, constant in her work. The exhibition can be visited until April 4, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 6pm. Free entrance.

Anna Costa e Silva – Exhibition "Caixa Preta"

From January 11, the video “Estudo sobre dois” (2011), by artist Anna Costa e Silva, will be on display at the exhibition “Black Box”. The video was displayed at the “Inventing Abstraction” event at MoMA (NY) and has never been shown in Brazil. “Caixa Preta” is a video exhibition in the container of Galeria Anita Schwartz curated by the artist Marcela Flórido, who holds her first solo exhibition in the gallery.

The exhibition can be visited at the Galeria Anita Schwartz, in Rio de Janeiro, from Monday to Friday, from 10am to 8pm and Saturday from 12am to 6pm. Free entrance.
