Marcelo Brodsky

His work is mainly characterized by the use of photography as an instrument of research and exploration of memories and traumas, it shows the attempt for overhauling the effects provoked by dictatorship in his home country. His project Buena Memoria (Good Memory) was exhibited at Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo in 2012 and he has also participated in the 29th International Biennial of São Paulo with the work entitled  El Rio de la Prata. Brodsky’s works have been exhibited in national and international museums, and many of them are part of important public and private art collections, including a recent acquisition by the Tate Modern of London and the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, United States.
